Members of the Sangamon Watercolor Society are watercolor painters whose skill levels range from novice to professional. They may also be art collectors, teachers, students, or anyone interested in the art of watercolor painting.
Sangamon Watercolor Society members receive:
- a monthly newsletter
- priority access to annual workshops at discounted fees
- monthly programs, demonstrations, and critiques
- weekly painting activities
- an invitation to participate in the annual membership exhibit as well as information on other exhibit venues
- socialization with watercolor artists and enthusiasts
Monthly membership meeting and program:
Meetings are held monthly, and they consist of a business meeting followed by a program. The public is welcome to attend. For details on dates and location, see our Calendar of Events.
Annual Membership Meeting:
The Annual Meeting of the Sangamon Watercolor Society is held in April for the purpose of reporting the activities of the year, holding biennial elections and installing new officers, as well as the transaction of such other business as may come before the meeting. This meeting is for members only. For the date and location, see our Calendar of Events.
Membership fees:
$25.00 per year (April through March)
$12.50 when joining after September 30.

- Your name
- Mailing address
- Telephone numbers (home and office)
- E-mail address (home; office is optional)
- A synopsis of your art history (Remember, novices are also welcome!)
- Membership fee
