About SWS
The Sangamon Watercolor Society, founded in 1986, promotes the art and appreciation of watercolor painting, presents opportunities for continuing education and the exhibition of artwork, and offers the enjoyment of associating with fellow watercolor enthusiasts.
Sangamon Watercolor Society members have skills that range from novice to professional. The society sponsors workshops, programs, demonstrations, critiques, exhibits, and enjoyable social activities.
Membership meetings are usually held the fourth Thursday of each month.

How To Join The Sangamon Watercolor Society
Our membership is open to anyone interested in watercolor painting, learning, and exhibiting. The monthly meetings are open to anyone to attend with the option to join the Society at any time. Membership is required to participate in any of our exhbits.
Membership fee is $50 annually, due the first week of January.
